SAN MATEO – It was another impressive weekend for the City College of San Francisco women's swim team. Led by sophomore Sophia Tran, the Rams totaled 552 points to finish second in the final standings at the 2025 Coast Conference Championships. The meet ran April 17-19 at College of San Mateo.

Tran earned the women's performance of the meet after taking first place in the 400 IM. She swam 4:58.96, beating the second-place finisher by over 11 seconds.

Tran also won the 100 breaststroke (1:09.44) and took second in the 200 breaststroke (2:30.43).

She also helped lead CCSF to a pair of relay victories as well as three top-three showings. The 400-yard medley squad of Serawit Ezra, Tran, Lian Mar, and Samantha Ng was first with a time of 4:11.14. The 200-yard medley relay team of Remy Dizon, Tran, Mar, and Ng was also victorious, winning with their time of 1:53.76.

The 400 freestyle relay (Narimane Hennouni, Ezra, Mar, Tran) was edged by just a half second to end in second place (3:50.52) behind winner West Valley College (3:50.05). The 200 freestyle relay (Dizon, Ng, Mar, Tran) took third with a time of 1:45.91. And the 800 freestyle relay (Hennouni, Ezra, Dizon, Ng) was also third at 8:48.48.

Lian Mar: 100 IM (2^nd, 1:06.46), 100 Fly (2^nd, 1:01.29), 50 Free (3^rd, 25.93)
Serawit Ezra: 200 Back (3^rd, 2:22.71), 200 IM (5^th, 2:26.80), 400 IM (6^th, 5:15.87)
Samantha Ng: 100 Free (4^th, 57.95). 100 Back (5^th, 1:06.20), 50 Free (8^th, 27.14)
Narimane Hennouni: 1650 Free (3^rd, 20:31.52), 200 Free (4^th, 2:07.81), 500 Free (5:57.11)
Remy Dizon: 100 Back (4^th, 1:05.21), 200 Back (7^th, 2:33.13), 50 Free (10^th, 27.78)

Also for the Rams, head coach Phong Pham was named the Coast Conference Women's Co-Coach of the Year.

Up next for the Rams is the 3C2A State Championships on May 1-3 at Santa Rosa Junior College.
