Former CCSF student-athlete and notable midfielder Gabriella Rodil brings passion and extensive understanding of the game to our program. Gabby is a proud alumni of CCSF women’s soccer program and reflects its dedication to cultivating excellence both on the field and in the classroom.

During her final year at CCSF, she was a co-captain and earned All-American. After, she decided to take a gap semester to assist Coach Jeff and the CCSF team during the 2022 fall season. Gabby’s coaching experience and leadership grew as she embodied CCSF women’s soccer’s culture through the lens of a coach.

She later transferred to NCAA Division II Cal State East Bay, where she continued to grow as a student-athlete and expanded her knowledge of the game. Her dedication in the classroom earned her recognition on the Academic All-District Team, while obtaining her bachelor degree in Kinesiology. On the field, she earned CCAA honorable mention team and All-Tournament team.

During the past three years, Gabby has returned to her high school’s alma mater, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, to coach the women’s JV and Frosh team. This year, she will also be returning for her fourth year as a soccer coach with SHCP. With her combination of high-level playing experience as a current member of Oakland Soul, coaching involvement, and academic achievement, Gabby brings valuable insight and drive to our program.
