NORTHERN CALIFORNIA REGIONALS BRACKET
SAN FRANCISCO – The City College of San Francisco women's soccer team earned its 11th Coast Conference championship in program history thanks to an impressive 11-game undefeated run.
The Rams wrapped up the regular season as well as the Coast Conference North Division championship on Friday with a dominant 6-0 victory over visiting Cabrillo College. CCSF head coach Jeff Wilson has now led the Rams to three straight conference titles as well as four over the last five seasons (2021, 2023, 2024, 2025).
CCSF closed out its conference schedule with a 10-0-1 record, its lone blemish a 1-1 tie against Coast South Division champion Cañada College.
Friday's victory improved the Rams to 15-2-2 overall and ran their unbeaten streak to 15 games. Sydney Grundland Lanuza led CCSF with two goals and an assist in the win over Cabrillo while the Rams also got single goals from Anahi Gomez, Abigael Zennadi, Nelzy Dominguez, and Chemnui Simpson.
Bailey Perales totaled 3 saves to post her fourth straight shutout and the Rams' 11th of the season.
The Rams will now look towards the postseason. On Sunday, CCSF was named the No. 3 seed for the upcoming Northern California Regional Playoffs.
As a top-8 seed, the Rams received an opening-round bye and will host the winner of No. 14 Chabot College and No. 19 Reedley College in a second-round game on Saturday (Nov. 22) in San Francisco.
The Rams will making their 15th straight postseason appearance and look to return to the state championship tournament for the second straight season. Last year, the Rams advanced to the state semifinals and suffered a 2-1 loss to Cypress College.
Three wins are needed by the Rams to advance to the 2025 3C2A State Championships on Dec. 5 & 7 at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo.
