NORTHERN CALIFORNIA REGIONALS BRACKET
The City College of San Francisco men's soccer team returns to the playoffs for the fourth straight season after receiving the No. 19 seed for the upcoming Northern California Regional Playoffs.
The Rams will head south to take on No. 14-seed Taft College for a first-round game in Taft on Wednesday (Nov. 19).
Under head coach Adam Lucarelli, CCSF compiled a 4-8-8 overall record during the regular season and finished fifth in the Coast Conference North Division with a 3-5-5 mark.
CCSF is looking to return to the state championships for the first time since 2018. Last year, the Rams advanced to the second round of the Northern California Regional Playoffs before suffering a 2-1 overtime loss to Cañada College.
No. 14 Taft enters the postseason with a 9-5-6 overall record and finished fourth in the Central Valley Conference at 3-3-4.
San Francisco and Taft will be meeting for the first time this season. The winner of Wednesday's contest will play at No.3 Evergreen Valley College in a second-round game on Saturday (Nov. 23).
Four wins are needed by the Rams to advance to the 3C2A State Championships on Dec. 5 & 7 at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo.
